Neuropsychological Evaluation- The Process

A comprehensive neuropsychological assessment involves assessing an individual's memory, cognition, and behaviour using standardized measures by a registered psychologist.

The purpose of such an assessment is to determine whether patterns of strengths and weaknesses are consistent with known brain-behaviour relationships to inform about neurological dysfunction and relevant diagnoses, such as mild traumatic brain injury or concussion.

The neuropsychological assessment requires that the individual meets with a licensed psychologist for an intake interview, testing session and feedback session. Intake and feedback sessions are always conducted virtually, testing sessions can be conducted virtually or in-person.
